This is some of the best food I have ever had, anywhere. Food comes out super fast, super hot, super fresh. Staff is very attentive! Highly recommend the scallion pancakes, house dumplings, and moo shu pork! Plus I always get a good fortune

Vegan reviewer here! This is going to be short and sweet. I ordered delivery via DoorDash and received my order within about 30 minutes. The hot and spicy tofu... get it!!! It was everything I had wanted and more if chili, garlic, salty goodness is your thing. I do enjoy spicy food and it was not spicy in my opinion. This dish comes with a side of white rice as well. I also ordered the vegetable chow foon which was alright. The texture of the noodles was too soft but I still ate it. If anything, just get the tofu and live your best life! I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because I requested hot oil and utensils and did not receive it in my take out order.

My wife and I love dumplings. I have made dumplings; we can always eat a cozy, comfy dumpling. We ordered the house special dumplings, which were juicy and delicious. My wife got the pork wonton soup = for 22 bucks. A bargain. The waiters were formal and helpful. The sauces are great. I will go back again and am considering ordering for a catered event.

Amazing Chinese delivery. Oddly enough, I was searching in a reddit forum for best Chinese delivery in Washington DC and found a post about a relatively small delivery area, but Dumplings and Beyond was incredible. I open Uber Eats and found we were within that range! We sampled many different foods but their dumplings, chicken fried rice and their scallion pancakes were the best of all. With dumplings in the name that isn't hard to believe. Looking forward to trying more when we return!

This is a great authentic chinese spot in DC. It has so many traditional Chinese dishes. We ate in and took put a number of times. The servers were friendly, and the restaurant itself is very spacious. There's a side area for takeout, which is a nice touch.

Awesome meal ordering dumplings and beyond for takeout - unfortunately across the city but won't stop us from returning, we loved it. great dishes - pan fried dumplings, sichuan noodles, cold sesame noodles (amazing, thick noodles, refreshing), chili chicken (slightly different version than others, this one has some different seasonings, isn't as spicy, has cilantro, etc.), walnut shrimp (delicious, huge shrimp, addicting sauce). good dishes - lo mein (love their slightly thicker noodles here), garlic eggplant, steamed dumplings ok dishes - cucumbers (mostly garlic in terms of flavor), xiao long bao, scallion pancake (although ours was undercooked - could see this being good when done right). Portions were big, service was quick.

I've never been in person but this is one of my favorite restaurants to order takeout from on Uber Eats and the food always gets delivered super fast. The pork and chive dumplings never disappoint. It does have a strong chive flavor though so if that's not your thing I'd go for a different option. The beef chow foon was also tasty if dumplings aren't your thing. No frills Chinese spot with pretty authentic food.

Price is very reasonable. Portion are huge. Street parking but ample parking. Service was ok. The waiter does not seem super happy to be there but it doesn't really bother me lol Restaurant was pretty big so we didn't need to wait for tables.

I was impressed! We ordered takeout, and the food was still pretty warm. We got the General Tso's Chicken, the crispy beef, and chicken & cilantro dumplings. All of the food was super fresh!! The crispy beef had a tangy flavor, and actually was crispy. The vegetables were a great accompaniment. The chicken and cilantro dumplings had a great flavor, and the spicy sauce was the perfect addition. The general tso's was overall good but could have been more flavorful/crispy. The portions were also pretty generous! I would definitely order again!

This review is for delivery. I ordered delivery from here (on a third party app) the other day. We wanted to try a variety so we got the pork and chive dumplings, soup dumpling, dumpling sichuan, and beef chow foon. Despite ordering delivery, the food still arrived warm. The sichuan dumplings were our fave but we really enjoyed all the dumplings. The soup dumplings had started to leak, but that's to be expected by delivery. We really liked the beef chow foon, the perfect hint of sweet and plenty spicy. Overall, we really liked everything and look forward to trying their other dumplings.
